You've been working all year to get away, the last thing you want to be doing whilst away is calling into the office or checking your email. However, thousands of us do! With some simple preparation before you go, follow our guide and have a relaxing break.
Top Tip of the Month!
July's top tip comes courtesy of Obsidian's IT Support Assistant Kyle.
He advises:
"In order to keep you going throughout the working day make sure you don't skip breakfast!
Make time for a good breakfast, it will fuel your body and prepare you well for the day!"
Before you go:
1. Tie up any loose ends before you go - don't leave any outstanding jobs.
2. Inform your major contacts of your break, they'll thank you for letting them know.
3. Why not consider our Holiday Telephone Answering Service - that way you'll ensure no opportunities are missed.
Whilst you're away:
1. First and foremost, relax and enjoy yourself!
2. If you really can't go a week without checking into work, we can text or email any calls/messages we may have taken for you. Alternatively some clients prefer to phone in at the end of the day.
3. Don't work whilst your away; you'll be too distracted and will not give it your full attention. It will wait until you get back!
