Client Spotlight...

Mackenzie Jones Solicitors recently opened a new office here at Obsidian.  I spoke to Andrew Foley Jones about their decision to expand.

What made you choose an Obsidian office?
Mackenzie Jones chose an Obsidian Office due to several reasons including its location, available parking and excellent facilities.

How have you found the service and the staff?
The service offered by all members of staff at Obsidian is exemplary.  All staff are highly efficient and professional and treat clients with courtesy.  Nothing is too much trouble.

What about the facilities?
The facilities are superb.  The building is extremely impressive and the infrastructure is well developed.  Everywhere is impeccably clean and clients have been very impressed by the standards of the building, the office, the reception and indeed all other facilities that are available.

Top Tips to welcome the Summer!

The 29th March sees the official beginning of British Summer Time!
 To celebrate we've decided to compile our top five tips to see off the winter and welcome the warmer weather!

1.  Why not give your office a spring clean?
Going through and tidying your files and desk may help you to unearth that lost document or a business card from a contact you have been meaning to call.
2.  Convert prospects to new business!
The key to this is preparation, if you can research the client before you see them, you can personalise your offer.  And now that summer's on the way, get out there and see them!  A face to a name always helps.
3.  Learn new skills;
a great way to keep your business fresh and your own knowledge up-to-date.  As little as an hour per week learning something new can make a huge difference to your business and your staff.  With so many resources available, it doesn't mean ploughing through a text book.
4.  Listen to your existing clients.
New business is great, but it's vitally important to look after your existing customers, and the best way to do this is to listen to their feedback and suggestions.  Consider a survey or questionnaire to gather this information.  You'll be surprised at the results!
5.  Don't forget to set your clock forward one hour on Sunday 29th March!  Make the most of the extra daylight and longer days!
